German multicentre study
•HIV+ patients were
without HAART (n=46) or
on HAART (n=68)
•Patients on HAART randomised to NUC-free (n=20) or                  NUC-containing regimens (n=48)
•HIV- and HIV+ patients reached comparable SVR rates
•Significantly more patients reached SVR among NUC-free compared to NUC-containing regimens
